About Pro Sport Benchmarking
Pro Sport Benchmarking is being built to organise soccer testing, develop meaningful age-group benchmarks, and turn results into useful player reports.
Why we exist
Soccer development is complex. Coaches see qualities that do not fit neatly into a stopwatch or score, while isolated testing can miss the context that gives a result meaning.
Pro Sport Benchmarking aims to create a practical middle ground: consistent soccer-specific testing, careful interpretation, and clear reporting that supports—rather than replaces—qualified coaching judgement.
The first grading framework is PSBR-F: Pro Sport Benchmarking Rating — Football. It is designed around four complementary performance pillars and a repeatable development process.
Current focus: building and validating the drill framework, data collection process, and age-group benchmark foundation for soccer.
The standard we want
The goal is not to create more numbers. It is to create information people can understand, use, and question responsibly.
Clear protocols and controlled testing conditions support repeatability.
The report explains what was measured and where interpretation has limits.
The purpose of comparison is better development, never careless labelling.
